It helps students transfer or graduate early and save money by taking exams to earn credit for college courses. Accepted by 2,900+ US colleges and universities, instead of traditional quarter/semester/yearly in-class courses, students take a single exam that demonstrates proficiency in a given subject. Utilizing credit by exam, students save precious time and hard earned money and are able to transfer or graduate faster than ever before. What are the benefits of credit by exam? Save time and money by earning credit through exams. Earning credit through exams costs significantly less than tuition for equivalent course credits. Motivated students who set and stay on track with their study goals can save thousands of dollars by takings exams—compare $75-110 for one 3-credit exam with the average $900-$1,500+ in-state tuition for one 3-credit course. If you’re already familiar with a subject, you may only need a few days/weeks to refresh or round out your knowledge before scheduling your test. How does credit by exam work?
